careers, provide an interdisciplinary forum for the presentation of their scholarship, and
showcase the resources of host institutions. Vagantes has held eight successful conferences,
at Harvard University (2002), University of Toronto (2003), Cornell University (2004),
University of Notre Dame (2005), University of California, Berkeley (2006), Loyola University, Chicago (2007), The Ohio State University (2008), The Florida State University (2009), and The University of New Mexico (2010).
